Eastern Wind Glass - Stained Glass and Fused Glass
Dixie Armfield-Rogerson
Owner of Eastern Wind Glass
Dixie's passion for glass started with her first stained glass class in 1994 at Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington. In 2000, while living in Las Vegas, she had her first experience in working with fused glass.
Before glass Dixie had studied Fashion Design in Los Angles and worked in retail management for many years. She has taken her love of color and texture from fabric to glass.
In September of 2008 the doors of Eastern Wind Glass opened. Dixie wanted to offer a place for Kitsap county residence to be able to shop for glass and supplies, take classes and share knowledge.
Dixie has taught many stained glass and fused glass classes and restored beautiful stained glass pieces.

Experience: I have loved drawing and painting all my life. The Art Institute of San Francisco is my Alma Mater, where I studied drawing, painting and printmaking.
Classes I have taught include drawing, a children's art workshop, painting and sculpture. I have worked with groups and private students. I like to use still life arrangements, photographs and live models in teaching situations.
